Milan forward Zlatan Ibrahimovic is reportedly uncertain for the match against Udinese and will carry out tests at Milanello today, before he travels to Sanremo.
The veteran suffered a muscle problem in his left thigh and was replaced in the 2-1 win over Roma on Sunday.
He risks being out for the next match against Udinese and will carry out instrumental examinations to assess the problem today.
He then travels to Sanremo, where he will participate in the prestigious music festival this week.
La Gazzetta dello Sport reports the Swede has a secret programme and a training venue in Liguria, where he will train tomorrow, on Thursday and on Friday.
Stefano Pioli said Ante Rebic, Hakan Calhanoglu and Zlatan suffered muscle injuries.
“They were all muscular problems, at the moment they seem more down to fatigue than strains, but we’ll see what the tests say tomorrow,” the coach said after the match.
“It’s a decisive moment for our season and we hope they are not serious, as we need everyone at our disposal.”
The 39-year-old should be back for the match on Wednesday but will then return to Sanremo and remain until the game against Hellas Verona on Sunday.
