Crotone have officially sacked coach Giovanni Stroppa, with the Rossoblu eight points from safety in Serie A.
The newly promoted side are bottom of the table after 24 games and announced they have parted ways with Stroppa, the day after the 2-0 defeat to Cagliari.
“Crotone Football Club announce that they have relieved coach Giovanni Stroppa from his post,” the club wrote.
“Thus ends a beautiful and intense journey that lasted almost three years, not without difficult moments but culminated in the extraordinary salvation and even more in the second, historic, promotion to Serie A.
“The President and the whole club intend to wish the best to Mr. Stroppa and his staff for the rest of his career.”
