Gyasi played his 100th game with the newly-promoted Serie A side in Turin.

"It’s a great achievement, I am so happy for it, but it’s a pity we could not celebrate taking some points,” he told Spezia’s official website.

“Unfortunately, in the second half, we were punished at the first opportunity. We go home without points but with the knowledge of having played our cards well.

“Now it is vital to think about Saturday's game, which is fundamental for our season.

“It will be like a final for us. We’ll start preparing the game from tomorrow. We must try to impose ourselves and bring home the three points.”

Gyasi had revealed he spoke to Cristiano Ronaldo after the previous meeting between Juve and Spezia in November, but the Portuguese did not swap shirts with him.

“He remembered me and this time he gave me his shirt at the end of the first half,” Gyasi said.

"It’s a real honour for me since he’s my football idol.”
