Udinese support Stryger Larsen: 'One of us'

Udinese embraced Jens Stryger Larsen after the handball against Milan lost the Bianconeri two points on Wednesday. ‘One uf us’.

Stryger Larsen was targeted for criticism and insults on social media after his handball helped Milan equalise six minutes into stoppages.

Udinese, who finished the match with 10 men, had stunned Stefano Pioli’s team and were holding on to the lead when substitute Stryger Larsen raised his arm in the box during the fifth minute of stoppages.

Coach Luca Gotti was furious with the amount of added minutes after the match, whilst the Bianconeri fans were fuming with the substitute who had lost them two points at the death.

Franck Kessie converted the penalty and equalised to draw the game 1-1 at San Siro.

Stryger Larsen was the target of criticism and insults on social media after the game and Udinese have immediately embraced their player and posted a photo on Twitter to support the Dane. With the caption: “One of us.”
