The Disciplinary Commission has announced the Lazio-Torino match as ‘sub judice’, and thus confirmed an additional investigation to establish the verdict.

The Biancocelesti were scheduled to play the Granata on Tuesday, but the latter never arrived in Rome due to the coronavirus quarantine.

Torino had been placed in quarantine after eight players and two members of staff had tested positive for COVID-19 and the local health authorities in Turin stopped them from travelling to the Italian capital.

Sports Judge Gerardo Mastrandrea issued an official press release today, indicating the Olimpico match as ‘sub judice’, meaning that the particular case is under trial, without assigning a 3-0 win by default to the Biancocelesti.

The judge makes no particular reference to the match, except for indicating the result ‘sub judice’, and an additional investigation is clearly expected to certify the actual outcome.
