According to reports in Italy, Roma midfielder Jordan Veretout could remain out of action for more than a month with a thigh injury.
The French midfielder picked up an injury against his former club Fiorentina on Wednesday.
The midfielder had originally been scheduled to have his tests on Thursday, but the appointment was postponed until today because the bruising is still too severe to get a good image of the situation.
Veretout underwent medical examinations this morning and according to Calciomercato.com he will remain out of action for about 35 days.
Exams highlighted a first or second-degree strain at the flexor of his right thigh.
Therefore, the 28-year-old could miss both Europa League clashes against Shakhtar Donetsk and Serie A matches against Genoa, Parma, Napoli, Sassuolo and, maybe, Bologna.
