Milan must cope without Hakan Calhanoglu against Hellas Verona on Sunday, as the Turkey international must carry out new tests on Monday.

The attacking midfielder missed the 1-1 draw with Udinese due to the muscle injury he’s currently nursing and missed three games due to coronavirus in January.

Sky Sport Italia reports Calhanoglu will not be back against Hellas Verona, as Milan have scheduled new instrumental tests for the 27-year-old on Monday.

The new tests will understand the evolution of the muscle problem in the medial flexors of the left thigh.

Calhanoglu has played 21 games in Serie A this term and has been a valuable member of coach Stefano Pioli’s setup, contributing one goal and nine assists in the process.
