Ciro Immobile says he constantly studies other strikers and insists Robert Lewandowski is the ‘best No.9’ in the world.
Immobile’s Lazio will meet Bayern Munich in the second leg of the Champions League round of 16 on Wednesday.
“I study strikers in every football match I watch, in every league,” Immobile told Sky Sport Italia.
“Egoism is part of each striker. When we see the goal, we only think about that. It’s a matter of instinct.

“[Simone] Inzaghi, as a former striker, never gave up. Maybe he preferred assists to goals, I saw some videos of his.
“However, football has changed. Now it’s crucial to be similar to Lewandowski. He is a complete striker who always try to go beyond his limits. He is the best No.9 out there.”
