Coach Roberto Donadoni says Parma tried their best at the Tardini, “but Milan are a great squad.”

The Ducali played well for long periods of today’s game, but were beaten 2-0 by a Zlatan Ibrahimovic penalty and Urby Emanuelson solo effort.

“We played and we tried our best from the very start, but when you play against a great squad like Milan, these things can happen,” said Donadoni.

“If we had been a little luckier in the opening 15 minutes, then we could’ve scored and changed the course of the game.”

The Ducali also hit the woodwork twice throughout the 90 minutes, but the defeat means they remain in the race to avoid relegation.

“Our season begins again next weekend. We have 10 games to go and the chance to do well.”
