The Serie B game between Pordenone and Pisa has been postponed after a COVID outbreak.

Pordenone made the request following a series of positive tests in the squad.

In accordance with the protocol, Pordenone were able to ask the Lega Serie B for a postponement and it was granted.

The game was due to kick off on Saturday March 20 and will now be rescheduled.

Much like Inter’s Serie A match against Sassuolo, it was postponed because there is a rapid spread of positive cases.

There were two cases, followed by another three within 48 hours.

The so-called English variant of COVID spreads more rapidly and easily, making it more likely to cause an outbreak than when the protocol was first designed last year.
