Cagliari coach Leonardo Semplici said everyone remembers Spezia’s win over Milan and claimed a win would be ‘very important’ on Saturday.

The Rossoblu travel to Spezia in Week 28 and Semplici wants to bounce back from a 3-1 defeat to Juventus last time.

But he pointed out that Spezia have taken some big scalps this season and pointed at the 2-0 win over Milan.

“We all have in mind the match won against Milan,” Semplici said at a press conference. “They have an excellent balance in the two phases of play but it will be up to us to break it, limiting their qualities.”

Cagliari have picked up seven points in their last four games under Semplici, and the coach stressed the match against Vincenzo Italiano’s men is ‘very important’.

“My team have to bring out the qualities of the individuals,” he said. “For us, the result is very important tomorrow."
