U21 Euros: Czech Republic-Italy line-ups

Patrick Cutrone, Gianluca Scamacca and Sandro Tonali start in Italy’s opening European Under-21 Championship clash with the Czech Republic.

It kicks off at 17.00 GMT and the Azzurri are in the same group as Spain and Slovenia.

The competition begins today in Celje and coach Paolo Nicolato has several big Serie A names in the side, although most have been upgraded to the senior squad.

Cutrone is given the chance to prove himself after recent difficulties at club level, while Genoa forward Scamacca has been a regular goal-scorer in qualifying.

Milan midfielder Tonali pulls the strings, with his club teammate Matteo Gabbia at the centre of a three-man defence.
