Lazio appeal COVID verdict

Lazio announced they will appeal the sanctions given for ‘violating the COVID protocols’, as President Claudio Lotito was suspended for seven months.

The Aquile released a statement on their official website confirming the intent to appeal the verdict from the National Federal Court, who fined the club €150,000 and suspended the President.

Club doctors Fabio Rodia and Ivo Pulcini were also suspended for 12 months, but the Biancocelesti avoided point deductions.

“Lazio, following the pronouncement of the first-degree sentence of sports justice, which provides for seven months of inhibition for the President, 12 months for club doctors and a fine of €150,000 for the club, announce they will appeal these decisions.”
