There are very different reports in Italy and England regarding Diogo Dalot’s future, as Milan seem ready to send him back to Manchester United.

In England, The Metro newspaper claims that a £12m offer has been made to keep the full-back on a permanent basis.

He is currently on loan and Manchester United paid £19m to sign him from FC Porto in the summer of 2018.

However, this is an outlier of a report, because in Italy all sources are confident the Rossoneri have very different priorities on the transfer market.

Dalot has only been used to fill the gaps in rotation with Pierre Kalulu.

The resources are focused on ensuring Fikayo Tomori remains from Chelsea, activating the €25m option to buy, as well as extending contracts for Gianluigi Donnarumma and Hakan Calhanoglu.

Dalot is unlikely to be kept on at San Siro beyond the end of the season.
