A new name is on the radar for Napoli, specifically Empoli coach Alessio Dionisi, while Gennaro Gattuso is linked with Fiorentina.
It seems all but certain that Gattuso will leave the Stadio Diego Armando Maradona at the end of the season, as his rapport with President Aurelio De Laurentiis remains fractious.
While Radio Kiss Kiss suggested Lazio boss Simone Inzaghi was in pole position, there are other names such as Vincenzo Italiano of Spezia, Verona’s Ivan Juric, Max Allegri and Luciano Spalletti.
Now Sport Mediaset have added another candidate for the Napoli bench, 41-year-old Dionisi, whose Empoli are currently top of the Serie B table.
Napoli had difficulty in the Coppa Italia against Empoli earlier this term and they are on track for promotion to Serie A.
The same source also pushes Gattuso towards Fiorentina, as President Rocco Commisso has said before that he wanted Rino at the club.
Both men originally hail from the Calabria region.
