Juventus won't limit at risk Italy players

While Sassuolo are ruling their four Italy internationals out of the Roma game, Juventus seem content to let theirs train from tomorrow if COVID tests are negative.

The news that four members of the Italy staff tested positive for the Coronavirus last night sparked panic in Serie A clubs when their players returned to base.

Juve have more reason to worry than most, as Leonardo Bonucci has also tested positive today.

Despite that, Sky Sport Italia report that Juventus are sticking to the existing protocol and will therefore be happy to let Federico Chiesa and Federico Bernardeschi train with the rest of the squad from tomorrow if their swabs come back negative again.

On the other hand, Sassuolo are taking a very cautious approach and have announced their four Italy internationals – Domenico Berardi, Francesco Caputo, Manuel Locatelli and Gian Marco Ferrari – will be placed into isolation and are ruled out of Saturday’s game with Roma.

They have all tested negative for COVID-19.

There are also reports that Roma will limit their players to a ‘bubble’, meaning they can only go from their homes to the training ground and stadium for the next 14 days.
