Alessio Cragno is the fifth Italy international to test positive for COVID, Cagliari announce.
The FIGC announced four members of the Azzurri staff tested positive for COVID after their 2-0 win against Lithuania last week.
Leonardo Bonucci, Marco Verratti, Alessandro Florenzi and Vincenzo Grifo have then tested positive for Coronavirus.
"Cagliari Calcio announce Alessio Cragno tested positive for COVID," the announcement reads.
"Carefully monitored after his return from his commitments with the Italian national team, the player underwent a new diagnostic test yesterday and is currently in isolation.
"The team group has already begun the fiduciary isolation and will strictly adhere to the Protocol. The Club has initiated all relevant procedures and is in constant contact with the competent health authorities."
Cagliari faced Hellas Verona at the Sardegna Arena on Saturday and will meet Inter on Sunday.
