Inter announced yesterday’s swab tests came back negative, meaning Nicolò Barella and Stefano Sensi are available against Sassuolo.

Italy’s COVID cluster has Serie A concerned ahead of the run-in and Inter have already gone through a coronavirus crisis ahead of the international break.

The Nerazzurri are relieved to announce that all tests carried out yesterday are negative for coronavirus, including those of the Italy internationals Alessandro Bastoni, Barella and Sensi.

Inter are preparing to recover the match against Sassuolo on Wednesday, postponed due to COVID-19, and Bastoni is suspended and ruled out, just like Marcelo Brozovic.

The availability of Barella and Sensi will therefore be important for coach Antonio Conte.
