Locatelli and Ferrari return to Sassuolo’s XI after two games. They had been excluded upon their return from international duty two weeks ago as a COVID outbreak had hit Italy national team with several staff members and eight players who tested positive.

Neither Locatelli nor Ferrari ever tested positive for COVID in the last two weeks, but Sassuolo opted to leave them out during the potential incubation period.
