Muriel celebrated his 30th birthday and his teammates – above all goalkeeper Pierluigi Gollini – decided to play a prank on him.
The Colombian left training to discover his car had been entirely plastered in post-it notes, including some spelling out ‘happy birthday’ on the side.
“Thanks a lot for the lovely surprise,” wrote Muriel with an angry emoji. “I’ve been here for an hour taking these damn things off…”
