The Lega Serie A will hold an extraordinary Assembly today, amid yesterday's announcement of the European Super League.
Il Corriere dello Sport claims Roma could be invited to join the founding clubs Juventus, Milan and Inter in the Super League.
Roma have not confirmed the invitation, and everything remains silent at Trigoria ahead of an extraordinary Assembly scheduled by the Lega Serie A this afternoon.
The meeting will reportedly evaluate the positions of various clubs that seem opposed to the formation of the new competition, as it would damage revenues from TV rights.
FIGC President Gabriele Gravina said the Super League will "damage European football" during the UEFA Executive Commitee today.
Inter, Juventus and Milan are attending the meeting, according to Sky Sport Italia. Click here to get the last updates on the Super League.
