Juventus President Andrea Agnelli gave an interview with La Repubblica assuring the Super League was ‘a blood pact’ between clubs and has ‘a 100 per cent chance of success.’
The interview was, obviously, given before the news that all six English clubs – Manchester City, Chelsea, Arsenal, Manchester United, Liverpool and Tottenham – had pulled out of the project.
This would leave only Juve, Milan, Inter, Real Madrid, Barcelona and Atletico Madrid.
Meanwhile, Agnelli’s words have been published and now seem a little out of touch with the situation.
“There is a blood pact between the clubs, we are going forward,” assured the Juventus President.
“This project has a 100 per cent possibility of success.”
