Ceferin 'pleased' to reopen stadiums for Euro 2020 games

UEFA President Aleksander Ceferin was ‘pleased to be able to welcome spectators’ for all the Euro 2020 games this summer.

After the UEFA Executive Committee replaced Bilbao and Dublin with Seville and St. Petersburg, all the stadiums have guaranteed at least 25 per cent capacity for the European Championship this year.

Ceferin ensured the presence of fans during the competition in an official note and said the UEFA has worked hard to ‘ensure a safe environment’ at games.

“We have worked diligently with the host associations and the local authorities to ensure a safe and festive environment during the games,” Ceferin said in an official note.

“I’m really pleased to be able to welcome spectators for alle the games scheduled for Euro 2020."
