Lazio are reportedly trying to fend off possible suitors and have set a price-tag of €70m for Luis Alberto.
The 28-year-old has re-confirmed his importance at the Olimpico, contributing eight goals and one assist in 29 Serie A games this term.
The former Deportivo La Coruna midfielder moved to Lazio from Liverpool for a reported €4m in August 2016 and has excelled under Simone Inzaghi’s reign.
Luis Alberto, capped once by Spain, has played 170 competitive games with the Aquile, scoring 34 times and contributing 47 assists in the process.
Il Messaggero reports patron Claudio Lotito wants to keep the attacking midfielder in the Iatlian capital and the player is tied to a contract with the Aquile until June 2025.
But after reports of interest from European giants, a huge offer would have the Biancocelesti consider letting the player leave and the newspaper claims Lotito would demand an offer of at least €70m.
