Beppe Iachini saw the right attitude in Fiorentina’s 3-3 draw against Bologna, but admits La Viola have regrets.
The Tuscans are now hovering four points above the relegation zone, but have do have regrets as Bologna recovered from one goal down three times at the Stadio Dall'Ara.
“We had the right attitude, we did what we had to. We knew they are good when they run into open spaces and we had prepared for that,” Iachini told DAZN.
“We came here to win and we regret we did not get all three points,” the coach added.
“We made some little mistakes, a victory would not have been undeserved, we are working to improve the defensive aspects. Let’s say our opponents were really good today.”
Dusan Vlahovic scored twice today and has 19 goals in 33 Serie A appearances this season.
“He has improved a lot, but his teammates put in a good performance too. We are happy for Dusan, he is scoring goals, which means the rest of the team is creating goal-scoring opportunities,” Iachini commented.
Franck Ribery was replaced in the final minutes after picking up a knock.
“We’ll see how he feels in the coming days, it shouldn’t be a serious injury,” the Fiorentina coach said.
