A statement from the Milan Prefecture announced that an area of 15,000 square metres has been identified and sealed off close to the Stadio Meazza in San Siro.

It will be able to hold up to 3,000 fans as a sign of support for the Nerazzurri.

There will be gates in place to ensure everyone who enters has been checked and their identity logged for possible contract tracing purposes.

This comes after thousands took to the streets on Sunday to celebrate the first Inter Serie A title in 11 years.

Many of them were seen without face masks and certainly not upholding social distancing guidelines.
