Inter have cancelled Antonio Conte's press conference ahead of Wednesday's game against Roma.

The news broke after it emerged that President Steven Zhang had met the team asking the players to give up on two months wages.

Conte has yet to take a pre-match press conference since Inter won the Serie A title two weeks ago.

He left the press conference to his staff before the Sampdoria clash last week and won't talk to the media before the Roma clash tomorrow.

According to reports in Italy, Conte was not involved in today's meeting between the players and Zhang, and it is unclear whether he will be required to take a pay cut as well.

As per FcInternews.it, Conte's press conference was cancelled to avoid spreading rumours about off-the pitch matters and the Inter coach will give an interview with Inter Tv.

Conte is due to meet Zhang in the coming weeks to discuss his future at the club.

His contract expires in June 2022, but it remains to be seen whether he will accept to stay for one more season if the club decide to sell some of their top players to keep the books in order.
