Inter have confirmed Aleksandar Kolarov underwent a successful surgery today and will begin his rehabilitation process ‘in the next few days’.
The Nerazzurri confirmed the former Roma left-back underwent surgery to remove a lumbar disc hernia at the Humanitas Clinical Institute in Rozzano this morning.
The club issued a statement revealing the ‘intervention, performed by Professor Maurizio Fornari, was perfectly successful’.
The 35-year-old has played seven games in Serie A this term and his current deal expires in June.
