Giorgio Chiellini can't say what he thinks about refereeing decisions in Juventus-Inter, but claims the Bianconeri' beat the best team Italy.'

"It was a hard-fought win against the best team in Italy," Chiellini told Sky Sport Italia after Juventus' 3-2 win over Inter.

"We played as a team, as we haven't done too many times this season. We complimented Inter players in the tunnel," the Juventus captain continued.

Referee Gianpaolo Calvarese managed to infuriate both teams with a red card each. He also disallowed a Romelu Lukaku equaliser for a foul on Chiellini before overturning his decision following a VAR check.

"I can't say what I think, everyone sees things differently on the pitch, we stole nothing," the Italy international said.

"We must think about the positive and negative things we did on the pitch. We brought out the pride, I don't know if it will be enough for the Champions League, but we'll try until the end.

"We have the Coppa Italia Final on Wednesday, and we know how essential trophies are. We deserve to be where we are. Unlike Atalanta, we wouldn't deserve to have qualified for the Champions League already.

"We've never won more than three games in a row, the season was not a disaster, but we haven't had consistency.

"I've always had a good relationship with Pirlo, respecting each other's roles. We've always respected him as a coach.

"We could not have the same relationship we had until one year ago. There are hierarchies and we've tried to help him."

Chiellini's contract expires at the end of the season, but he hasn't reportedly received an offer to extend his deal.

"It's too early to talk about it, we'll do so at the end of next week."
