The penalty kick awarded to Juventus with two minutes remaining was perhaps the most controversial decision from Calvarese.

Ivan Perisic has also been critical of Calvarese and posted a controversial Instagram post using the hashtag #controtuttoetutti, which translates into ‘Against everything and everyone.’
