Inter captain Samir Handanovic said they ‘waited too long’ to finally lift the Serie A trophy after 11 years.
The title was secured several weeks ago, but the presentation ceremony was held at San Siro this afternoon following the 5-1 win over Udinese.
“I feel great joy and happiness. We waited too long for this, I was here the whole time, but the moment has come for us to be rewarded. Now we have to see that as a starting point,” Handanovic told DAZN.
