Gian Piero Gasperini has refused to respond to claims made by Massimo Moratti that he is to blame for Inter’s disastrous campaign.

“He ruined everything,” stated the Nerazzurri President after Andrea Stramaccioni was appointed as their third Coach of the season.

“He took the determination out of the club and he continually moaned about the players.”

Gasperini replaced Leonardo at Appiano Gentile in the summer, but the 3-4-3 tactician didn’t last long and he was axed in September.

“I have no comment to make,” Gasperini stated on Wednesday when asked about Moratti’s criticism. “I’ll speak when the right time arrives.”

The former Genoa tactician, who was sacked in favour of Claudio Ranieri, did recently insist that he wasn’t responsible for the club’s problems this term.

Out of the Champions League and the Coppa Italia, Inter are still 10 points adrift of the last Champions League qualification spot.

He had also previously criticised the club’s transfer policy.
