Spalletti snubs Fiorentina option

Zenit St Petersburg boss Luciano Spalletti has cooled suggestions that he could move to Fiorentina at the end of the season.

The Viola may opt for a coaching change in the summer given their problems this term under firstly Sinisa Mihajlovic and Delio Rossi.

“I’m happy abroad,” the former Empoli tactician told Lady Radio on Wednesday afternoon. “Talking about these things now only causes harm.”

Spalletti, also linked with Inter, joined Zenit in December 2009 – just three months after he quit Italian outfit Roma.

In February, Spalletti signed a new contract with the Russian club until 2015.
