Alberto Paloschi has warned parent club Milan that Chievo will be gunning for victory in Tuesday’s Serie A game.

The two teams will meet at the Stadio Bentegodi and the Flying Donkeys are keen for revenge after defeat at San Siro earlier this season.

“We want to demonstrate that we are better than the side who lost 4-0 at Milan,” the Italian Under-21 international told the Gazzetta dello Sport.

“We, as a team, want to beat the 46 points tally that we achieved last season. It would be nice if we could reach 50…”

Chievo currently have 42 points in the standings.

Paloschi joined the Verona outfit in the summer after loan spells at Parma and Genoa. He’s scored five goals in 25 League games this term.

“Milan? I don’t know if I will return there in June,” stated the 22-year-old. “For now I am just concentrating on playing football.”
