The Rossoneri collected three points thanks to a stunning Sulley Muntari goal, but they did struggle against a spirited Verona outfit.

“We played an open game of football and I have to compliment my side for their mentality,” stated the former Parma and Sampdoria” data-scaytid=”7″>Sampdoria tactician.

“Milan scored with their only shot on goal, while we made too many errors in front of the net,” Di Carlo continued.

“It was a shame that the result went the way it did because it doesn’t reward us for the performance we put in.

“Let’s take the positives from this game and use them to end the season in the best possible manner. We have to give our all until the end.”

Chievo are well placed to survive the drop as they already have 42 points in the bag.
