Mario Yepes has underlined that he won’t discuss his future with Milan until the season has come to an end.

The Colombian is one of 10 players at the club who have expiring deals and it is unclear whether he’ll be handed an extension.

“We’ll firstly think about winning the Scudetto and then I’ll meet with the club to decide what happens next,” he told Milan Channel.

“I’m very happy here and I look to take advantage of every training session and game by giving my maximum.”

Yepes, 36, has only played in 11 matches for the Rossoneri across all competitions so far this season. Of those, seven have come in Serie A with one goal.

“We have to try and win the remaining games and hope that Juventus drop a few points. If they win the six matches left then we’ll take our hats off to them.”
