The two teams met in a friendly last night and the Azzurrini stormed to an emphatic victory with goals from Alessandro Florenzi, Ciro Immobile, Lorenzo Insigne and Samuele Longo.

“We played a great game on a tough pitch at a point of the season when energy is lower than it was at the start of the campaign,” said the former Juventus” data-scaytid=”10″>Juventus boss.

“We had quite a few absences, but, despite this, our level of play was really high and those new to the team did well.

“It was a real game and Scotland caused us difficulties at the start because of their high rhythm, but we responded excellently.

“All of the team confirmed themselves – including those players who are part of the set-up, but not always in the squad.”

Ferrara’s choices were restricted given that Week 33’s postponed Serie A round was recovered on Tuesday and Wednesday.
