Palermo “have got Paulo Dybala – the new Sergio Aguero,” announced President Maurizio Zamparini.

The Sicilians claim they have captured the 18-year-old striker from Argentina’s second division side Instituto.

“We have got Paulo Dybala,” Zamparini told Sky Sport Italia this morning.

“He is the new Sergio Aguero and we snatched him from the clutches of Inter, PSG and Chelsea.”

The President was also asked about Christian Panucci, who resigned just 34 days into his job as technical director.

“Panucci cannot think he can come here and start ordering everyone about. He was not in charge.

“As for today’s derby, we may be losing ground, but I am certain we will win this game. Only with the right grit and determination can we beat Catania.”
