Walter Samuel has officially extended his contract with Inter until June 2013 with an option for another season.
The defender had been set to leave the club on a free transfer in the summer, but today it was announced he has put pen to paper on a renewal.
The new deal holds Samuel to the Nerazzurri until June 30 2013, plus an option for another year on top of that.
The Argentine international has been at Inter since the summer of 2005.
