The midfielder is one of several stars whose contract expires this summer and quite a few – Alessandro Nesta, Gennaro Gattuso and Pippo Inzaghi – have already confirmed they are leaving San Siro.
“He will make a decision on his future within 15 days,” agent Giovanni Branchini told Globo Esporte.
“His biggest worry, considering his curriculum, is to maintain the prestige and play at a high level.
“He must now resolve a few things, as he still has many ties in Italy. In any case, he will not transfer to a different Serie A club.”
Botafogo hope to tempt Seedorf, who already has a home in Brazil.
