Inter chief Massimo Moratti is happy with the arrival of Rodrigo Palacio, while he suggested that the club will also consider a bid for Ezequiel Lavezzi.

Palacio is in Milan to undergo his medical after a reported €11m transfer fee was agreed with Genoa.

“Palacio is someone who will do well for our cause, he is the kind of player that we needed,” the oil baron told Sky Sport Italia.

Attacker Palacio was targeted last summer at the request of previous boss Gian Piero Gasperini, but the Rossoblu rejected all approaches.

With one Argentine signed, there are reports that another may follow in the shape of Napoli sensation Lavezzi.

However, stories this morning claim that French giants Paris Saint-Germain have made a €26m offer to the Azzurri.

“I’ve read the reports and it seems a very interesting offer,” Moratti responded. “Will we match it? That depends…”

Lavezzi has a €31m buy-out clause inserted into his contract at the Stadio San Paolo.
