Some media sources in Italy suggested that the former Inter, Parma and Fiorentina shot-stopper was of interest to several French clubs.
“I can confirm the transfer rumours around me are not true,” wrote Frey on his personal Twitter account.
“I am resting at my house so I can come back more fired up than ever! #forzagenoa”
The 32-year-old only arrived at Genoa this season and has a contract until 2016.
