French Second Division side Monaco have appointed former Inter boss Claudio Ranieri as their new Coach.

Reports yesterday suggested that a deal had been done and the club have now confirmed that he will be sitting on their bench next term.

Ranieri, linked with jobs at Fiorentina” data-scaytid=”4″>Fiorentina and West Brom, has signed a two-year contract with the option of a third.

He’ll be presented to the media on Thursday.

The former Chelsea, Juventus” data-scaytid=”6″>Juventus and Roma boss has been out of work since he was dismissed by the Nerazzurri in March.

His replacement at San Siro, Andrea Stramaccioni, yesterday signed a three-year deal with the Beneamata.
