However, according to speculation on Thursday, the 34-year-old goalkeeper is keen to sort out his future before next May.

Abbiati, 34, is still the first choice with the Diavolo ahead of 2006 World Cup winner Marco Amelia. Abbiati played in 31 League games this term and nine Champions League ties.
