The rumours of the striker’s imminent move intensified on Saturday when friend Roberto Sosa confirmed Lavezzi had told him in a text message that he was heading to France.
Javier Pastore’s girlfriend also sent a Twitter message to Lavezzi’s partner saying she was excited they would be joining them in Paris.
“I don’t know anything yet about Lavezzi’s possible arrival in Paris,” Coach Ancelotti told Bein Sport.
“I can certainly say the objective of the club over the summer is to improve the squad without completely revolutionising it.”
