The capital club are keen on the 26-year-old and today’s Gazzetta dello Sport is suggesting that a deal has been agreed with his club and the player himself.
Lazio will apparently hand over €6m to his Turkish outfit, while offering the forward a contract worth €2m a season, plus bonuses.
However, Lazio sporting director Igli Tare has told the Biancocelesti’s official website that they have yet to speak with the attacker.
“With regard to negotiations for Burak Yilmaz, I want to deny some of the reports,” the former Albanian international noted.
“I want to underline that, as it stands, there is no meeting planned with the player or with his agent.”
