Rolando Bianchi intends to be playing for Torino in Serie A next season after helping them win promotion.

The former Manchester City and Lazio man is a regular component of the transfer rumour mill, but he has told Sky Sport Italia that he has no intention of leaving the club.

“It was important for me to help Torino win promotion,” he noted. “No matter what the ideas of Coach Giampiero Ventura are, I am happy here.

“I’m proud that I can wear the Granata shirt and the captain’s armband. I feel at home at Torino and I have no desire to go.”

Reports have suggested that Genoa could be interested in signing the 29-year-old centre-forward this summer.

“[Genoa CEO Pietro] Lo Monaco is someone who likes me a lot, but I have no intention of quitting Torino,” he concluded.

Bianchi joined Toro in 2008.
