Parma have confirmed that Inter are interested in Italian international forward Sebastian Giovinco.

The Nerazzurri have been linked with the player in recent weeks, even if Giovinco’s co-ownership status between Parma and Juventus has yet to be resolved.

“We’ll soon meet with Juventus,” Gialloblu President Tommaso Ghirardi told Sky Sport 24.

“Up until now, there has been no way that we could start up any negotiations, but we’ll soon evaluate what will be the best for us and for Giovinco’s future.

“Inter are interested in the player, there is no need to hide that, especially as he is a player who scored 15 League goals this term as well as somebody who provided 15 assists.”

Giovinco was in action on Sunday when he was used as a second half substitute in the 1-1 draw with Spain at Euro 2012.

“To see Giovinco play with the shirt of the national side at the European Championship is a source of pride for us,” Ghirardi concluded.
