Alexandre Pato has insisted that his future is at Milan despite notable interest in his services from around the globe.

The Brazilian youngster almost joined Paris Saint-Germain in January and they are still keen on the 22-year-old.

However, Pato, despite his injuries at San Siro, wants to make a telling contribution to the Diavolo in the future.

“I will remain at Milan until the final day of my contract – June 30, 2014,” noted the striker. “I’m grateful for everything that the Rossoneri have done for me.

“Milan have received several offers for me besides the one from Paris SG. I can only thank all those interested clubs, but I’ll stay at Milan.

“Milan helped me in the most difficult moments and I don’t have the slightest intention of leaving. I’ll stay.

“I want to repay the club for all the faith that they’ve had in me.”

Pato went on to reveal that he’s not only received proposals from the big European clubs.

“I got offers from Brazilian clubs, but this isn't the right time to return home. I’m 22 and I’m in the team that I want to be in.

“I appreciate the interest from the other clubs, but my intention is to stay in Europe for many years before returning to Brazil…

“I’m a privileged person and I’m ready to regain the faith that has been given to me, by performing well on the pitch. Not only with Milan, but also with Brazil.”

Pato, now back to full fitness, will be hoping to make an impression at the 2012 Olympics.
