Going into the Monday evening Group C matches, Spain, Croatia and Italy could all still reach the quarter-finals.

“I think what happened to Russia must ring alarm bells for all the teams who have to win their last game,” said Torres in a Press conference.

“Even with six points, you can still go out. We must be aware of that, especially when facing a difficult opponent like Croatia.

“We know their strong points and how to deal with their style of football. We need to focus on playing the way we know how and winning the game, always keeping respect for Croatia.

“Don’t forget Russia conceded a goal and were eliminated…”
